I started this list when
I first joined Weight Watchers. I wanted to have a constant reminder of all
of my feelings of why I started WW down on paper. I figured that if they were
staring at me in black and white, I couldn’t deny my feelings anymore. Having
this visual reminder is what helped me stay on track.
- I want to wear a size 4 or 6, something in the
single digits and not the size 16-18 that I’m currently wearing.
- I don’t want to buy XL shirts or even Large. I’d like to buy Medium
or Small shirts, maybe even X-Small one day.
- I don’t want to have to shop in Lane Bryant or the Women’s Plus section
of stores. I want to shop in the Misses or Juniors department like I’m supposed
to.
- I’m tired of feeling fat or having ‘fat days’
- I’m tired of being categorized as ‘overweight’ or ‘obese’ according
to the BMI (Body Mass Index).
- I want to wear a bikini at the beach!
- I want to wear size 12 Levi’s Jeans again and maybe get down to a size
4 or 6.
- I want to wear sexy and pretty clothes.
- I want to borrow my sister Lisa’s clothes again.
- I want to be described as slender, thin, skinny, or anything that is
not chubby, chunky, thick or fat.
- I want to wear jeans with cute baby tees and not have to cover my tummy
up with a zippie jacket, fleece or a hoodie.
- I want to lower my cholesterol from the unhealthy level of 237.
- I want to be thinner than my husband, not heavier.
- I want to feel comfortable in my own skin.
- I don’t want to have to worry about having pictures taken of me, getting
the pictures back and going, “Oh my god! I look so fat!”
- I won’t fear trying on clothes in the fitting room.
- I will feel better about myself.
- I will walk with my head held high.
- I WILL FEEL DAMN F*CKING AWESOME ONCE I LOSE THIS WEIGHT!!
